The main bass sound, first hear it around 0:23, bonus points if you can add mod knobs for the different variations ( listen to that first drop to hear how he modulates it )
@nukedoutfps, 3rd message. Creative effects like flanger, phaser, vocoder, resonators, spectral filtering, ect. Just make sure you are controlling the high end in between effects that adds/boosts frequencies. Have fun!
@nukedoutfps, To continue with my message. The idea is you should render one big long recording of the preset then post process. I recommend taking the reverb and maybe the delay off though before doing this(so you can add it back in later). A lot of the process will look like distortion, equing to control high end and harshness created from distortion, OTT or multiband compression, further eqing, and looping that process in slightly different ways. In that process also add some creative effects
I submitted a preset. Keep in mind this reese bass sound can't be made simply in one go within Vital(you can do this Phaseplant though) because it requires much processing in effects that Vital is simply limited in. Reese basses often require you to resample and you can that in Vital by taking previous renders and throwing them in its sampler. That wouldn't be helpful for me to do that since you won't have much control over resampled audio. So I made a preset that uses randomized automations.
