"Acid-BoxX - A TB-303 Clone v2"
This is an acid bass preset for Serum 2.
This is the second version of my preset:
What has improved compared to v1?
The overall sound is now closer to the original TB-303;
everything has been completely redesigned from scratch.
All settings—such as Accent, Env Mod, and so on—now match the original design and frequencies;
everything was painstakingly adjusted to align with the original's filter frequencies.
What’s new?
FX-Send and the "CYBERPUNK MAKER."
FX-Send adds Delay, Convolution Reverb, and Chorus.
And the "Cyberpunk Maker" transforms the 303 into a "Cyberpunk Acid bass."
If you want to create melodies or leads with this preset, you can also activate "OSC B" (it is already set up).
As I mentioned with v1: use only the macro knobs and leave everything else untouched; even the slightest change can ruin the sound.
The TB-303's famous (and infamous) "Accent" is triggered by velocity:
Normal note, Velocity: 100
Note with Accent, Velocity: 127
(You can see this in the demos.)
8 macro knobs are assigned:
Macro Button 1: CUTOFF
Macro Button 2: RES
Macro Button 3: ENV MOD
Macro Button 4: DECAY
Macro Button 5: ACCENT
Macro Button 6: FX-SEND
Macro Button 7: DISTORTION
Macro Button 8: CYBERPUNK MAKER
Sound demos are saved in "Clip1" through "Clip12."
Only "Clip1" plays in the demo.
Demo BPM: 125
(If necessary, the compressor can also be activated on the "Main" bus within the effects section.)
Have fun!
