@isak.g, So when I compare Absynth 6 to Serum 2 (granular synthesis), Absynth 6 performs better. This suggests that the “Serum 2” code still needs some optimization. You can improve performance by not setting the quality to “Ultra” and using fewer unison voices. And if you press 5 keys on your keyboard at the same time, it’s normal for a CPU to struggle. CPUs weren’t designed for audio processing, but for all kinds of tasks. Serum 2 also doesn’t support "SSE4, AVX, AVX2, AVX-256/512"

@isak.g, (these instructions are specifically for audio processing), which significantly impacts performance. The situation is different with Massive X or Absynth 6, which support all these features. My suggestion: wait until XFER adds these instructions, or don’t press 100 keys on your keyboard at the same time. :D
