Black Polished Chrome
is a Serum 2 “Cyberpunk AcidBass” preset, Ba Dum Tss!

Serum 2 isn't exactly known for its analog sound; it sounds clear and clean. That's why, to make the preset sound warmer, fuller, and more analog, I used the “Waves Audio - SoundShifter” plugin and pitched it down by two semitones. I recommend this plugin to everyone—it really makes the preset sound better in this case.
You can hear SoundShifter in the demo when the kick drum kicks in.

And now for the preset.
The preset is a cyberpunk acid bass remake of the track
“Emmanuel Top – Turkish Bazar” from 1994.


8 macro buttons are assigned:
Macro Button 1: ACID
Macro Button 2: ACID BOOST
Macro Button 3: EQ BOOST
Macro Button 4: LENGTH
Macro Button 5: DE-ATTACK (The “DE-ATTACK” knob should be turned down at the right moment to allow the “ACID” knob to produce a higher-pitched chirp. But you don't have to, just do whatever sounds best to you.)
Macro Button 6: REWIND (REWIND should be enabled when the “Acid” knob is turned all the way up, and the “DE-ATTACK” knob is disabled.)
Macro Button 7: DIODE
Macro Button 8: LFO3 (The “LFO3” knob sounds best when the “DE-ATTACK” knob is turned off. Try playing around with the “ACID” knob a bit.)
