I've made a flute a long time ago, simply using a sine and some smooth asymmetric distortion. I've updated it quite a bit since, such that playing multiple notes in just intonation will bring new kinds of sounds, such as trumpets, bell pads, and other combinations lead to unpleasant sounds but in a scary way!!
Play around with harmonies with this, or stick to just one note and some octaves and possibly fifths for more interesting stuff! I often go between harmonies when I use it (as you may observe by the second part of the demo!)
