VOCODER SYNTH - Energizer

Don't know how to vocode? well, HERE WE GO!

how to vocode:
get 3 mixer tracks
open vital (or any other synth if you aren't using this preset) on one of them
have your vocals on another
and have an empty track with vocodex on the third

Now turn down the master volume knob on the vocal track and the synth track (the knob all the way to the left under the master channel, not the one directly on the mixer channel)

select your vocal track, then right click the arrow at the bottom of the vocodex channel, and hit sidechain. do this for the synth as well

then open vocodex, right click the 2 empty boxes in the top left and choose your vocal channel as the modulator, and your synth as the carrier.

you can now adjust knobs and do cool stuff!
